Dave Clement has been a highland piper for over 40 years, coming from the famous McCallum piping dynasty originating in Argyll in the West of Scotland.

He has played at all manner of events around Europe including France, Belgium (at the Menin Gate, Ypres on many occasions), in The Netherlands, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany and many more - and of course in England and Scotland.

Based near Newcastle upon Tyne, he currently plays with the City of Newcastle Pipe Band and also with the Pipes and Drums of the Tyneside Scottish Association Pipe Band (Royal Artillery). He even gigs playing the pipes with a local rock band who play AC/DC tracks.

Dave has competed professionally in piping solo competitions, he has played many times in the World Pipe Band Championships, and has enjoyed considerable success along the way winning major international competitions.

He can enhance any event by adding atmosphere and tradition at weddings, funerals, Burns' Night celebrations, New Year celebrations and any other type of function where the stirring highland pipes are required.

Dave’s brother Allen is also a highland bagpiper and together they can form an entertainment team if two players would suit your occasion even better!
